Good News for Fish Farmers! Govt is Giving Loan up to Rs.15 Lakh; Apply This Way

Recently the Modi government has included fish farming in Kisan Credit Card. Now farmers can start farming along fish farming and generate more income amid the corona crisis.

Fish farming is gradually becoming one of the most profitable businesses for livestock farmers across the states. The federal and state governments are implementing several programs to improve the welfare of livestock farmers and double their revenue. The Modi government just included fish aquaculture under the Kisan Credit Card.

Farmers can now start farming along with fish farming to make extra money in the midst of the corona crisis. During this pandemic, the central government recently announced a loan of up to 15 lakhs.

Loans for Fisheries

According to sources, loans are provided by the central and state governments under various schemes to promote fish farming. The central government is offering a loan for 75% of the total cost of the fish. Furthermore, fishing can be done in both stagnant and flowing water. If fish farming is done in moving water, it is referred to as an 'aquaculture system'. Similarly, on the banks of a waterfall in the mountains, fish farming can be practiced. Aside from that, fish farming is practiced in the plains' stagnant water.

How to Get a Loan for Fish Farming?

If you want to perform fish farming with a 'commercial aquaculture system,' the project will cost you approximately 20 lakh rupees. You will need to come up with Rs.5 lakh in this case. The remaining 15 lakh rupees will be financed. This loan will also include a subsidy for you. First and foremost, you must create a project and submit it to the District Fisheries Department.

  • Naina fishes

They can be sold from Rs.200 to 400 per kg.

Crop is ready in 25 days

After the fish seeds are introduced to the pond, the crop is ready in about 25 days. Fish seeds can be purchased from any hatchery. Please notify us that there are fish hatcheries in Delhi, Saharanpur, Haridwar, and Agra. There are seeds available there. Aside from that, each district has a fisheries department that assists cattle farmers in a variety of ways. The unique aspect is that you can also receive instruction in fish farming.

 

You Can Earn upto Rs. 5 Lakh

If you start fish farming once, then you can earn continuously from it. You can earn about Rs.5 lakh every year from an acre of pond.
