This Man From Gujarat Spends Rs 20 lakh to Construct a 'Bungalow for Birds’

Bhagvanji Rupapara was inspired to design a new device for his feathered friends. Bhagvanji, a Gujarati, spent Rs 20 lakh to construct this 140-foot-long, 70-foot-wide, and 40-foot-high birdhouse, or bird home.  He used his own money and land to construct a large birdhouse. It was built to provide a safe shelter for birds and to protect them from the weather. 

Over 2,500 earthen pots custom-made for this purpose were utilized to build the riverside dwelling. 

Bhagavanji also ensures that trespassers do not hurt the birds. He is a nature lover who thinks that all living things should be represented equally. In addition to offering shelter, the 75-year-old also feeds and waters the birds.  

Thousands of birds can be seen taking advantage of the facilities and shelter offered by this caring individual. 

In the meanwhile, building a birdhouse is a fascinating and timeless activity. Bird homes, also known as nest boxes, were traditionally made of clay, wood, thin aluminum, and other natural materials. Birdhouses protect your feathery friends from the weather and keep them in your yard. Backyard birdhouses, on the other hand, will function as a safe shelter for local and migrating birds and wildlife. 

Time is also a crucial factor since bird homes should be operational by the end of the summer or the beginning of the fall. The earlier the house is built, the more time the birds have to find a new habitat before the mating season begins.  

Birdhouses should be left up all year if feasible to serve as roosting sites or winter shelters for migrating birds, but they can be removed, cleaned, and reinstalled after the breeding season is over.
