Fall in Turmeric arrival

Erode turmeric merchant association has found short supply of turmeric. The sale prices of finger and root variety turmeric at association is Rs 5,829 to 8,349 per quintal and Rs 5255 to 7,691. Due to shortage, at Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric was sold at Rs 7,179 to 8,374 and root variety at 6,989 to 7,959 where at Erode Cooperative Marketing Society,finger turmeric sold at Rs 7,503 to 8,188 and root variety at Rs 6,499 to 7,555.
