Prices of Soybean, Guar Gum, Guar Seed Rise on Spot Demand

Refined soya oil prices dipped 0.39 percent to Rs 745.5 per 10 kg in futures trade on Monday (9th September 2019) while onion price recorded a 20 month high at Rs 2,500 per quintal as per the record of Agricultural Produce Market Committee.

Refined soya oil prices dipped 0.39 percent to Rs 745.5 per 10 kg in futures trade on Monday (9th September 2019) while onion price recorded a 20 month high at Rs 2,500 per quintal as per the record of Agricultural Produce Market Committee.  

On the other hand, refined soya oil contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 2.9, or 0.39 percent, to Rs 745.5 per 10 kg with an open interest of 28,150 lots on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange. 

The average wholesale onion price at country’s largest wholesale onion market, Lasalgaon, Agricultural Produce Market Committee on Monday recorded a 20 month high at Rs 2,500 per quintal. 

Soybean Price Increases 

As per the report, soybean prices increased by Rs 22 to Rs 3,732 per quintal in futures trade on Monday as speculators raised their positions supported by a strong spot demand. 
 

Coriander Price declined 

Coriander prices fell by Rs 99 to Rs 5,924 per quintal in futures trade on Monday.  

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander prices for September delivery declined by Rs 99, or 1.64 percent, to Rs 5,924 per quintal with an open interest of 9,150 lots. 

Guar gum price goes up 

On the other hand, guar gum prices rise by Rs 8 to Rs 8,055 per five quintals in futures trade on Monday on the rise of strong export demand in the market.
