SABC's Bhagirath Choudhary briefed them about various activities undertaken by the Centre, and showcased achievements of Biotech Kisan hub to promote GAP and IPM based production system of seed spices in Western Rajasthan
SANDIP AGALE, PhD of South Asia Biotechnology Centre organized visit to DBT Biotech Kisan hub tinkering laboratory, explained protocols and standards for testing soil, seed and water, and applications of sticky traps, pheromones, botanicals and microbials to manage pest dynamics of seed spices
APEDA has sanctioned two clusters for #Cumin & #Isabgol for Western Rajasthan and Coriander for Eastern Rajasthan under Agriculture Export Policy 2018 of Govt of India.
South Asia Biotechnology Centre shared the ideas and opportunities to accelerate quality production, processing and export of seed spices as part of Rajasthan Agro-processing, Agri-business and Agri-export Promotion Policy, 2019 from Western Rajasthan
