Prof Pravin Trivedi, Vice Chancellor, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur receives a copy of book "Crop Health Management: An Indian Story" from Bhagirath Choudhary, Founder & Director of South Asia Biotechnology Centre, a scientific organization implementing Biotech Kisan Hub for Western Dry Region by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. 

Bhagirath Choudhary of South Asia Biotechnology Centre briefed Prof Pravin Trivedi about various activities of SABC on plant research & innovation, biotechnology applications, projects on invasive species such as Spodoptera frugiperda; Pectinophora gossypiella & Schistocerca gregaria. He was also apprised about the programs related to production and export of spices from Western Rajasthan as part of Biotech Kisan Hub of Department of Biotechnology, India, Government of India, and explored possibilities of collaborative opportunities to create multiplier impact in Western Rajasthan 

Prof Pravin Trivedi is an accomplished academician and a scientist par excellence in plant science and has made significant contribution to research in plant science, particularly in nematology and plant pathology. He served as Vice Chancellor of D.D.U. University Gorakhpur (U.P.) & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University and Professor of Botany at University of Rajasthan, Jaipur
