Jain Irrigation gets Smart Irrigation Controller

Water Irrigation shall be high-tech from now onwards as the Jain Irrigation has acquired ET Water Systems Inc., a US-based company that provides irrigation technology products. This will broaden Jain Irrigation’s water management technology product offerings, the company said without disclosing any financial details.

ETwater is a provider of cloud-based smart irrigation. Its patented technology integrates data science, machine learning and predictive analytics about weather forecast and environmental variables to automatically adjust site-specific irrigation schedules. 

Aric Olson, president of Jain Irrigation said “Jain is the technology leader for irrigation monitoring and control, and we are thrilled to have ETwater in our family”. “After several successful irrigation technology acquisitions, the addition of ETwater, the pioneer of smart irrigation control, adds key technologies that can be deployed globally to our growing technology customer base”, he added.
