But do you know some food combinations can upset your stomach or may affect your health. Here is the list of food items that you must not consume after eating mangoes.

Water

You should never drink water immediately after eating mangoes. It can cause acidity, bloating, stomach ache, and related issues. So, you must drink water only after an hour or half of consuming mangoes.

Cold Drink

Mangoes are already high in sugar, and cold drinks are also high in sugar. So consuming cold drinks just after mangoes can increase sugar levels. In fact, it can be very dangerous for diabetic patients.

Curd

Many people love curd and chopped mangoes dessert. But this combination is not good for your body, as it can create heat and cold in the body and may lead to skin problems or allergies.

Spicy Food

Eating much spicy food or chilli after mangoes can cause stomach problems and may lead to a negative impact on your skin including acne and allergies.

Bitter Gourd

Bitter gourd with (or just after) mango is the worst combination. It can cause nausea, vomiting, and related problems. It can also lead to trouble breathing.
