How to make Drumstick Paratha
Now let us know how to make the “Drumstick” Paratha. First of all, wash the drumstick leaves and soak them in water for 10-20 minutes. Before chopping, wash them again. After the chopping is complete, take the chopped leaves in a bowl and then add flour, salt, carom seeds, green chili, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Mix all the ingredients properly, add some water and keep kneading till you get the smooth dough. Then divide the dough into small balls and start rolling the bolls to make the Paratha. Heat a tawa on medium flame and place the paratha. Use oil or ghee to cook the paratha from both the sides until it turns golden in colour. Serve hot with chutney and curd. For making this healthy paratha recipe, one would require 1 cup drumstick leaves, water, ½ tea spoon carom seeds, ½ teaspoon red chilli powder, salt to taste, 1 green chilli, turmeric powder, 1 cup wheat flour and oil for cooking.
