Lockdown 2.0: PM Modi Suggests Ministry of AYUSH Guidelines to Boost Immunity; Here Is What It Says

Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday extended the ongoing lockdown in the country till 3rd May. Addressing the country on the last day of the first lockdown (Lockdown 1.0) on Tuesday, PM Modi said that the government is making every effort to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic. He also urged people to follow the guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH guidelines to protect themselves from Covid19.

Addressing the country on the last day of the first lockdown (Lockdown 1.0) on Tuesday, PM Modi said that the government is making every effort to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic. He also urged people to follow the guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH guidelines to protect themselves from Covid19.

In this article we will tell you about the guidelines that are included in the Guidelines of Ministry of AYUSH, which can surely protect you and your family from coronavirus, if followed properly. The Ministry of AYUSH in its guidelines has mainly focussed on ways to increase immunity or immune system in the body.

Ministry of AYUSH: How to Boost Immunity

Ministry of AYUSH guidelines to boost their immunity during Covid19 pandemic;

1. You must eat 10 grams of Chyawanprash daily in the morning and if you are suffering from diabetes, you can also take sugar-free Chyawanprash.

2. Make garlic a part of your meal. Rich in medicinal properties, garlic is very effective in increasing immunity. Garlic contains allicin which is known to increase immunity (Immune System).

3. Drink golden milk (turmeric milk). For this, mix half a teaspoon turmeric in 150 ml warm milk and drink it at least once in a day.

4. You can also eat spinach which contains many antioxidants that increases our immune system's ability to fight infection.

5. You can drink herbal tea made of basil (tulsi), cinnamon, black pepper, dry ginger and dry grapes with turmeric once or twice a day.

6. Use ginger in whatever way you like to increase immunity.

7. Take VITAMIN C. Eat citrus fruits like oranges, strawberries, berries, lime, kinnu, lemon and amla.

8. Make use of oil pulling therapy. This therapy involves swishing oil in the mouth to remove bacteria & promote oral hygiene.

9. You scan mix cloves powder with jaggery or honey and consume it daily. It is effective in dry phlegm or sore throat.

10. If you have a sore throat or phlegm problem, you can take steam in which you can add mint leaves and carom seeds.
