Yes, Chai can be one of the healthiest beverages if you add right ingredients in it. Adding these healthy ingredients make your Chai special. In recent times, having a good immunity has become really crucial to all of us.

Healthy Tea Ingredients

1. Ginger

It has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps in supporting the immune system. Its other benefits are it can treat many nauseas, morning sickness, reduce muscle pain. Ginger is also a natural blood thinner. It will add an amazing taste to your Chai as well.

2. Clove

It has medicinal properties. Clove is really popular as people use this in cold and cough. Cloves are powerful enough to destroy viruses and helps in clearing respiratory congestions. They are high in antioxidants so they help in fighting infections also.

3. Mulethi

It is one of the best immunity boosters. It is given to people who suffers from cough and cold. It helps in clearing respiratory tracks and helps in fighting respiratory infections. Being rich in antioxidants, it helps in improving your immunity.

4. Cardamom

Cardamom is also vastly used in Chai. It has antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties & helps in lowering the blood pressure. It helps in protecting from chronic diseases as it has anti-inflammatory effects.

Try to avoid taking refined sugar in tea. Alternatives can be Jaggery or you can have plain Chai.
