Amla is rich in Vitamin-C which contributes to its acidic nature and consequently leads to hyperacidity. Though it comes out to be a great element for stomach detoxification, however, if you have a history of hyperacidity, then this fruit is not for you.
Amla also affects blood pressure levels in an individual, especially for those who are suffering from hypotension or low-b.p. It is definitely not a good option for diabetic patients. If one takes their daily diabetic medicines then Amla is definitely not beneficial.
Amla reduces the water level in the skin and the body and thus leads to dry skin.
Also, Amla should definitely be avoided during the pregnancy, as it could lead to severe dehydration and could cause serious problems.
Drinking too much Amla juice could lead to a higher amount of Vitamin C in the body, thereby contributing to acid excretion during urination. A higher amount of Vitamin C in the body can also cause an increase in blood vessel elasticity that could be a dangerous problem in people who suffer from blood-clotting issues.
