'Coromandel Girl Child Education Scholarship Program' at Fazilka, Punjab

One of India's largest phosphatic fertilizer players, Coromandel International has recently organized an event at Fazilka, Punjab under its CSR initiative 'Coromandel Girl Child Education Scholarship Program'. A city located next to the Pakistan Border, Fazilka is not a properly developed area and the economic conditions and infrastructure of the area are also not up to the mark. Fazilka has been a significant market for Coromandel and considering this fact 10 schools of the area are strategically identified and selected first and second scorers 40 female students in 8th and 9th class for awarding a scholarship.

The event was graced by many players like Mr. Satish Tiwari, Sr GM - Coromandel, Dr. Renu Dhudiya - President, All India Medical Association, Mr. Pradeep Khanagwal - Deputy Education Officer, Mr. Sandeep Dhudiya, Principal, Dealers and Company Officials. All these eminent personalities took a moment to address the girls who hail from economically weaker section but possess caliber and intelligence.

Under the program, these girls were rewarded with HDFC Prepaid Card worth Rs 5,000/35,00, certificate, medal, school bag, and lunch box.
