Corteva Agriscience Partners with Philippines Agri Department to Improve Farm Productivity

Recently, Corteva Agriscience has partnered with the Philippines' Department of Agriculture to enhance the productivity and profitability of farmers across the nation. 80 EduFarms will provide season-long field and in-classroom training to more than 800 farmer leaders, targeting 40 low-yielding rice and corn municipalities. The topic of the lessons will range from land and seed preparation, marketing and financial management. The objective of the collaboration is to generate an additional 50 million tons of rice and to add 750 million pesos to the economy of the Philippines.
