Dabur India Felicitated by EDMC for Plastic Waste Management

Dabur India Limited, one of India's oldest and largest Ayurvedic medicine manufacturers, is a household name in the market. The company is dedicated to the health and well being of every household and has always been upfront to take steps towards global issues like climate change and environmental conservation.

For their continuous efforts towards collecting, processing, and recycling post-consumer plastic waste in Delhi, Dabur India has recently been felicitated by East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC).

The company shared the news through their Linkedin handle. "Dabur India Limited is committed to becoming a #PlasticWasteNeutral Company by the end of 2020-21 fiscal. In the current fiscal, we will be collecting and processing/recycling over 12,000 MT of post-consumer plastic waste across 25 states in India," says the Linkedin post of Dabur India Limited.

Under this initiative, the plastic waste will be collected from the end-users with the help of local ragpickers across the 25 states. The company aims to become a Plastic Waste Neutral company by collecting 20,000 MT of plastic waste from across India.
