FertiGlobal’s Latest Project ENVision Aims to Enhance, Nurture, and Vitalize Crops

The main objectives of this project are to obtain crop resistance to abiotic stress conditions at a large scale, while increasing crop quality, productivity, and soil fertility.

Environmental monitoring and life cycle analysis will be done throughout the project to stably demonstrate the efficiency of this new approach for modern sustainable agriculture.

Agriculture is vulnerable to climate change since rising temperatures result in lower crop yields and promote the growth of weeds and pests. Excessive use of natural resources (such as water) and pesticides is no longer sustainable since they endanger the ecosystem and have a negative impact on food security and human health worldwide.

By 2050, the population of the world is projected to rise to 10 billion people, which will make matters worse. As a result, agricultural production will need to increase by 70%. This enormous task demands quick and efficient responses, which is why the ENVision project has been funded by the LIFE Programme of the European Union. The project stands for Enhance, Nurture, and Vitalize the crops to increase yield a healthy plant growth.

ENVision project will finalize and bring to market FertiGlobal’s breakthrough biostimulant EnNuVi technology aimed at radically changing the impact of agriculture on the environment while supporting the growing demand for food and higher yield productivity.

The main objectives of this project are to obtain crop resistance to abiotic stress conditions at a large scale, while increasing crop quality, productivity, and soil fertility. FertiGlobal aims to achieve this result by taking action in three areas:

Advanced Lab testing

This area of the project will focus on the finalization of EnNuVi formulations applied to the majority of crops and validation of the mode of action against abiotic stresses.

Field Demonstration Trials in 6 EU Countries

The project will be conducting field tests with various crops and climatic conditions to show and validate the environmental advantages of the EnNuVi technology, including decreased use of agri-chemicals and water supply; increased soil fertility (as a sign of decreased environmental impact); improved crop quality and production yield. The field testing will be scaled, starting with modest size plots and progressing to larger field tests with a coverage of 2,000 hectares.

ENVision Business Plan

The final ENVision business strategy, which aims to considerably increase FertiGlobal's EnNuVi technology's market presence in Europe during the course of the project, will be built on the technical results recently obtained (June 2023).

Environmental monitoring and life cycle analysis will be done throughout the project to stably demonstrate the efficiency of this new approach for modern sustainable agriculture.

Objectives of the ENVision Project:

Technical benefits: Because of the clever melding of bioactive polyphenols and carefully selected natural ingredients, FertiGlobal's EnNuVi technology is able to activate and control plant defense systems and resistance mechanisms against all types of stress conditions, including pathogens and climatic agents like droughts and floods.

Environmental benefits: The ENVision project from FertiGlobal strives to reduce the negative effects of modern agriculture on the environment while addressing a top concern for human health. It is based on long-term and advanced R&D investments. EnNuVi by FertiGlobal, which focuses on the complete lifespan of plants and crops, feeds crops using cutting-edge nutrition technology to assure healthy plant growth while using fewer pesticides and water.

Business benefits: The LIFE ENVision project supports business at its best by embracing the entire lifecycle of plants with a new "crop management approach" and providing greater quality and yields while guaranteeing significant cost savings thanks to more precise and effective plant nutrition solutions.
