Hero Motocorp Leads the Market with 3 Models in Top 10 Two-Wheeler Sale

Hero’s motorcycles are highly popular in India. The company continues to lead the Indian market and win hearts of consumers, as its Splendor tops the list of top 10 two-wheelers sold in January 2021. The month saw a whopping sale of 225,382 Splendor motorcycles. This is a 1.26% increase in sales as compared to January 2020 in which 222,572 motorcycles of this model were sold.

HF Deluxe, which is another commuter bike from Hero Motocorp company, stood at the 3^rd position in the top 10 list with a staggering sale of 1,34,860 bikes in January 2021.

The company’s Hero Passion grabbed the 9^th position with a sale of 43,162 units in the same month. This is a 60.42% increase in sales as compared to January 2020 in which 26, 905 units were sold.

The 2^nd position in the top 10 list is held by Honda Activa with a sale of 211,660 units sold in January 2021. The sale was 234,749 units in January 2020.

The figures are as per the newest data delivered by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).

With people coming back to their office lives and adjusting with the new normal post Covid-19, the two-wheeler industry is beginning to see good days again.
