Maharana Pratap Horticultural University Signs MoU’s with Iotechworld Avigation & Varaha ClimateAg

Maharana Pratap Horticultural University has signed 2 important Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) one with Iotechworld Avigation Private Limited and Varaha Climate Ag.

Prof Samar Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Maharana Pratap Horticultural University, and Dr. Satinder Yadav signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Deepak Bhardwaj, Director and Co-Founder of Iotechworld.

The goal of this MOU is for a remote pilot training organization to develop an agri-drone pilot training course in Haryana in accordance with DGCA regulations (RPTO). Furthermore, educate farmers and jointly establish training centres to provide drone training, and finally, licence farmers to fly drones.

Dr. Ramesh Goyal, Director (Research), Dr. Pawan Kumar, Environmental Scientist, and Madhur Jain, CEO, Varaha Climate Ag signed another MoU. The agreement's goal is to educate students and meet the need of the enterprising farming community of Haryana in the field of carbon credit.

Agriculture drones enable farmers to adapt to specific environments and make informed decisions. The information gathered aids in crop health management, crop treatment, crop scouting, irrigation, field soil analysis, and crop damage assessments.

About MHU:

The Haryana Governor approved the establishment of the Haryana State University of Horticultural Sciences (MHU) at village Anjanthali (Karnal) via Act No. 32 of 2016, and the University became operational in November 28th, 2016.

The University's mandate is to be a centre of excellence in teaching, research, and extension education in horticulture and related sectors for food and ecological security, improved livelihood opportunities, and economic prosperity of farming communities.

The university aims to develop diversified sustainable farming systems for increasing horticultural productivity and profitability, as well as to train farmers and extension functionaries for the effective dissemination of advanced horticultural technologies in Haryana and neighbouring states.
