Mahindra and Mahindra Celebrates 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in a Unique Way

On the holy occasion of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd Farm Division, Mumbai, the leading tractor manufacturer of India paid tribute to the first Sikh religious leader and founder of Sikhism and celebrated it in a unique way.

On the holy occasion of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd Farm Division, Mumbai, the leading tractor manufacturer of India paid tribute to the first Sikh religious leader and founder of Sikhism and celebrated it in a unique way.

During the occasion, employees of Mahindra and Mahindra, the number one tractor manufacturer of India celebrated Prakash Parv in the Gurudwara Sri Ber Sahib and served in the langar. At the same time, the company donated Arjun Ultra 605 DI tractor to Shri Ber Sahib, Sultanpur Lodhi. Mr. Sunil Johnson (National Sales Head M&M Ltd Farm Division) personally handed over the key to Mr. Mahinder Singh Alhi, the Committee Secretary of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak.

Speaking on the occasion, National Sales Head M&M Limited Farm Division Sunil Johnson said, "Along with financial goals, the company understands its social responsibilities."  “Baba Guru Nanak Dev ji was also a farmer and loved farming. Our company also works for farmers and we want farmers to learn from Guru Nanak Dev ji and do advanced farming”, he added.

On the auspicious day, all the state and zonal officials were present along with state dealers.
