Mahindra Finance’s ‘Project Hunnar’ Recognised at the 8th India CSR Awards 2020
A CSR project called ‘Project Hunnar’, powered by Mahindra Finance, has been recognized at the 8th India CSR Awards 2020. The initiative aimed at providing non-traditional vocational training in vehicle repairing and other related skills in order to empower women entrepreneurs and increase the sources of their income generation in automobile sales and service sectors.

On this recognition, the Mahindra Finance took time to share the news with the people through their social media platforms. “At Mahindra Finance, we believe empowerment is the best way to bring about change. We are pleased to announce that our efforts towards creating livelihoods for underserved communities as part of 'Project Hunnar' have been recognised at the '8th India CSR Awards 2020',” shared the company on the social media platform LinkedIn.

During the times of Coronavirus, Mahindra Group has been quite active in providing aid to the government. Mahindra tractors were used for the sanitization purpose in Maharashtra. Apart from this, the company also manufactured PPE and surgical masks, manufactured ventilators and also offered resort facilities.
