Mahindra Ramps up Sale of New Mahindra Arjun 605 DI 4WD V1 Tractor in Anticipation for Demand of Higher hp Tractors in Punjab & Haryana

Mahindra & Mahindra, the world’s largest tractor company by volume, is gearing up for the increase in sales for higher powered tractors and to cater to the growing demand for the company’s recently introduced Mahindra ARJUN 605 DI MS V1 tractor. The new tractor is ideal for farmers seeking power, precision, and longer duty cycles in farming operations.

Building on the success of Mahindra’s popular ARJUN range of tractors, the Mahindra ARJUN 605 DI MS V1 represents a significant milestone in the company's commitment to world-class tractor technology.

Designed and developed to enhance productivity on farmlands, the new tractor is built tough and comes with mBoost, a high backup torque, and a robust 4 4-wheel drive (4WD) system introduced in the Arjun brand of tractors for the very first time. A powerful 36.3 kW (48.7hp) four-cylinder engine provides best-in-class fuel economy and long service intervals of 400 hours.

Variable track width, the ability to lift and pull heavy loads of up to 2200 kg for a range of applications, and maintaining implement depth, are made possible by a rapid reaction hydraulic system and a three-piece rear axle.

Reverse PTO (Power Take-Off) for unclogging of implements and SLIPTO technology enables ease of operations for implements like balers and independent start/stop of continuous PTO operations, for ease of operations during farming. A 16 forward + 4 reverse speed synchromesh transmission with dual clutch technology ensures smooth gear shifting and a longer clutch life, for the best performance in rotavator puddling and heavy implement usage. An ergonomically designed operator area, a side shift gear system, and a power steering system increase operator efficiency, while providing the best operator comfort and longer working hours.

The Mahindra ARJUN 605 DI 4WD V1 tractor is sold through Mahindra’s tractor dealer network in Punjab and Haryana, along with a range of compatible farm implements. The new tractor is also available through convenient and attractive loan schemes from Mahindra Finance.
