Maruti Suzuki Reports Sales Up 11.8% to 152,983 Units in February
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) has reported 11.8% growth in its domestic sales (including dispatches to Toyota Kirloskar Motors) to 152,983 units in February 2021, against 136,849 units in February last year, says reports.

As per official, sales of mini-cars comprising Alto and S-Presso were at 23,959 units as compared to 27,499 units in the same month last year, down by 12.9%, MSIL said in a statement.
Sales of compact cars, including models such as Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno and Dzire, increased by 15.3% to 80,517 units as against 69,828 cars in February last year.
Mid-sized sedan Ciaz sales, however, declined by 40.6% to 1510 units as compared to 2544 units in February last year.
Sales of utility vehicles, including Vitara Brezza, S-Cross and Ertiga, increased 18.9% to 26,884 units as compared to 22,604 in the year-ago month, MSIL said.
Exports in February increased by 11.9% to 11,486 units compared to 10, 261 units in the corresponding month last year, the company said.
During the month under review, Maruti Suzuki reported an 11.8% increase in total sales to 164,469 units compared to 1,47,110 units in the same month a year ago.
