Redlands Ashlyn Group’s Innovative Farm Equipments are Nature Friendly to Farmers

The straw is converted into a commodity and is the last mile income for the farmer. Depending on the model, the balers of the Redlands Ashlyn Motors PLC of ThrissurKeral`s  products  bale rice straw, wheat straw, corn harvest residue, sugarcane harvest waste and cotton stalks. Krishi Jagran interacted with  Abhay Ashlyn, Director of the Company during EIMA Agrimach India 2019 at the Pusa Ground.  

He said that our round straw balers use environmentally friendly organic jute twine to bind the bales making it ideal for cattle fodder as well as other applications like mushroom farming, paper industry, fuel briquettes and for power generation. 

Redlands Ashlyn Group was established in 1989.The first venture was Precision weighing balances and scales catering primarily to the jewelry industry and analytical laboratories. The group's headquarters and R & D unit in Thrissur, Kerala, India. Redlands Ashlyn Motors Plc is the latest venture of the group. The factory complex is at Malumachampatty, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The facility spans an area of 66000 sq.m and will include an engine assembly line, pre treatment plant, paint shop and assembly lines for agricultural, construction and commercial vehicles. Redlands Ashlyn Motors is the first manufacturer of harvester machines in south India. The vision of the group is to be a global player, offering affordable and quality equipment that is innovative and user friendly. The current effort is focused on accelerating the machanization of the Indian agriculture scenario by combining user friendly features, economical prices and low ownership.
