Sanjay Kumar Rakesh Named As The New Managing Director Of CSC
Sanjay Kumar Rakesh, CEO of CSC SPV has been named as the Managing Director of CSC at the 52nd Board Meeting of CSC, which was conducted at the Ministry of Electronics & IT.
In November 2020, Rakesh assumed leadership of CSC SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) after declaring his military retirement from the IAS. He has almost 30 years of experience working for the government in a variety of capacities and is an IAS officer from the Tripura cadre who graduated in 1990.

As the program manager for the Indira Awas Yojna and Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, he has also worked for the Ministry of Rural Development. Rakesh received his Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and his Post-Graduate in Public Policy & Management from MDI, Gurugram.
The nomination of a new managing director and directors, as well as the adoption of the annual financial statement for the fiscal year 2021–2022, were among the main items on the agenda of the board meeting, which was presided over by secretary of information technology Alkesh Kumar Sharma.
