Qualifications
Applicants should hold a graduate degree from a recognized university with a creditable academic record. Desirable qualifications include proficiency in computer operations, specifically MS Office, and practical experience in seed/planting materials or Agri-horticultural fields/laboratories.
Selection Criteria
The selection process will be based on a weighted evaluation encompassing educational qualifications, relevant experience, and performance in the interview.
Duration of Engagement
The initial engagement period for the selected candidate will be one year, with the possibility of extension for up to two more years (one year at a time). Consequently, the maximum duration of engagement for a Young Professional at ICAR stands at three years, subject to yearly performance reviews. However, the appointment may be terminated with one month's prior notice.
Age Limit
Applicants should fall within the age bracket of 21 to 45 years as of 23rd February 2024. Age relaxations apply to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women categories, following ICAR/GOI guidelines.
