ICAR - Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Santoshnagar, Hyderabad, is inviting candidates for a walk-in-interview for the position of Research Assistant and Field Investigator under the project entitled “Assessment of Gender Inclusiveness in Rainfed Agriculture” on contractual basis. Qualifications  and Experience

Research Assistant (1 Position)

Duration: 7 months

  • Post-graduate degree in Agriculture, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Home Science, or related fields.

  • Proficiency in English and Telugu.

  • Experience in research.

  • Proficiency in computer skills including statistical analysis, scientific report writing, and communication.

Field Investigator (1 Position)

Duration: 6 months

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

  • Proficiency in English and Telugu.

Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 45 years old, with age relaxation provided according to Government of India guidelines for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates.

Monthly Remuneration 

  • Research Assistant: Rs.32,000/- per month

  • Field Investigator: Rs. 20,000/- per month

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the qualification, experience and the performance in the interview.

  • Eligible candidates should attend the Walk-in-Interview on 21.08.2024 at ICAR-CRIDA, Santoshnagar, Hyderabad 500059, by 11:00 AM. 

  • Applicants should bring a completed application form (as per the attached proforma) along with one set of self-attested copies of certificates related to qualifications, age, and experience. Original certificates must be presented for verification.
