The National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, is conducting a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Senior Research Fellows on a contractual basis. The initial contract period will be for one year or until the project's completion, whichever comes first. Here are the details:

Qualifications  and Experience

Essential Qualification:

  • M.Sc. in Agriculture with a specialization in Entomology, or M.Sc. in Horticulture with a focus on Entomology, OR

  • M.Sc. in Zoology or Biotechnology with a specialization in Entomology, along with NET qualification.

Desirable Qualification:

  • Proven research experience in managing or rearing insect cultures, supported by quality research publications.

  • Practical experience in handling and managing stored grain pests.

Age Limit: The age limit for the position is set at 35 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates.

Monthly Remuneration 

Rs. 31,000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 35,000/- per month for 3rd year

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a PowerPoint presentation, which will be followed by an interview.

  • Eligible candidates for the contractual Senior Research Fellow positions are required to prepare a PowerPoint presentation, that they should carry in a pen drive to the walk-in interview.

  • Candidates attending the walk-in interview must report for certificate verification at the specified venue by 9:00 a.m. on the dates mentioned in the notification. 

  • They are required to bring all relevant original documents, including educational qualifications, experience, research, training, and testimonials, along with self-attested photocopies and a recent passport-sized photograph.
