ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Division of Microbiology, New Delhi, invites eligible candidates for an Walk-In-Interview to recruit for one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position under the ICAR-BNF project titled “Incentivizing Research in Agriculture: Genetic modification to improve biological nitrogen fixation (in bacteria)”.

Essential Qualification:

Master’s degree in Plant Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Sciences / Bioinformatics with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree.

OR

Candidates with a Master’s degree and 3 years of Bachelor’s degree must have NET qualification and 2 years’ experience (as per ICAR/IARI guidelines).

Desirable Qualification:

Experience in:

Isolation of nucleic acids

Gene cloning

Bioinformatic analysis (genome and transcriptome)

Rs 31,000/- + HRA per month (as per Central Government norms)








 

Age Limitation and Additional Information

  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 years

  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST & Women candidates; 3 years for OBC candidates (as per GOI/ICAR norms).

  • Attach a recent passport-sized photograph.

  • Carry all original certificates (education, experience, NET/GATE, etc.) along with one set of self-attested photocopies.
