ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the DIVISION OF SOIL SCIENCE AND AGRICULTURAL CHEMISTRY under the ICAR Funded Emeritus Scientist Scheme for the project titled "Re-solubilizing soil-fixed phosphorus by phospho-silicon-organic acid interaction". This position is purely on a contractual basis for three years.

Master's Degree in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/Soil Science/Soil Microbiology/Environmental Sciences/Agronomy with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree (1st Division).

OR

Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Agricultural Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree must have NET/GATE/ICAR-SRF (Ph.D. entrance) qualification and two years of research experience.







Rs 37,000 + HRA (1st & 2nd year); Rs 42,000 + HRA (3rd year)









Age Limitation and Other Information

Maximum age limit:

  • 35 years for SRF.

  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/Women; 3 years for OBC (as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules).

  • Fill out the application form in the prescribed format (Annexure-I).

  • Attach self-attested scanned copies of:

  • Certificates (Matriculation onwards).

  • Date of birth certificate.

  • NET/equivalent certificate.

  • Degree certificates (final or provisional).

  • A recent photograph.

  • Proof of experience and publication details (if applicable).

  • Combine all documents into a single PDF file.
