The United Nations System of Organisations covers a wide variety of organizational units with different institutional and functional structures. In association with UN day celebration. The 2018 UN Day Concert will be held on Wednesday, 24 October 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the General Assembly Hall at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
It will feature sarod virtuoso Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, who will be accompanied by his sons Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash, and the Refugee Orchestra Project conducted by Lidiya Yankovskaya.
The theme of this year’s concert, which is sponsored by the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations, is “Traditions of Peace and Non-violence”
