7th Pay Commission: When Will Central Government Employees Get DA Hike? Check Latest Update Here

The Maharashtra government recently increased DA (Dearness Allowance), which would be effective from 1 August 2022. The action followed a recent increase in the dearness allowance for employees by the Chhattisgarh government.
The Maharashtra Shinde government has announced a 3% DA rise beginning on August 1st.
17 Lakh Employees to Get the Benefit:
In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the decision to hike DA was made. The DA modifications will take effect on August 1st. The Chief Minister's Office provided information showing that the DA raise has now reached 34% of the base wage as a result of this increase. The 17 lakh employees will benefit from the government's decision.
The Chhattisgarh government previously announced plans to raise the dearness allowance by 6%, which is good news for the state's employees. Following this decision, Chhattisgarh's government employees will receive a 28% dearness allowance.
This will help 3.8 lakh workers. Employees of the state government were receiving a 22% dearness allowance under the 7th Pay Commission and a 174% dearness allowance under the Sixth Pay Commission.
When will central government employees of other states get DA hike?
The Central Government, on the other hand, is also expecting a hike in their DA from the government. The central employees' DA hike that was scheduled to take effect in July is now due. It should be noted that DA increases twice a year for central staff.
In March, the DA for January was declared. The dearness allowance was raised from 31% to 34% at that time. This time, a 4% increase in the dearness allowance for July is expected.
