A Walk in interview is going to be held on 7^th April, 2020 for the posts of Senior Project Associate, Project Associate, Field Worker at Assam Agriculture University, under the project entitled “Development of superior haplotype-based near-isogenic lines (Haplo-NILs)for enhanced genetic gain in rice” and JRF under the project entitled “Mainstreaming rice landraces diversity in varietal development through genome-wide association studies: a model for large-scale utilization of gene bank collections of rice” on a contractual basis.

1. Senior Project Associate

• Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Agricultural Science/ Biotechnology from a recognized university or equivalent OR Doctoral degree in Agricultural Science from a recognized university or equivalent.

• Work Experience: Minimum Four Year Experience in Research & Development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and Technology organizations and scientific activities and services.

• Salary: Rs. 42000/-p.m.+ 8% HRA

1. Project Associate

• No. of Post : 01

• Age Limit: No age limit

• Educational Qualification: Master Degree in Agricultural Science/ Biotechnology from a recognized university or equivalent (Preference will be given to Plant Breeding and Genetics and Biotechnology).

• Work Experience: Freshers may apply

• Salary: Rs. 31000/-p.m.+ 8% HRA

2. Field Worker

• No. of Post: 02

• Age Limit: No age limit

• Educational Qualification: Graduate Degree in any Discipline.

• Work Experience: Freshers may apply

• Salary: Rs. 18,000/-p.m.+ 8% HRA

3.JRF

• No. of Post : 01

• Age Limit: No age limit

• Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Life Science or Agriculture/Biotechnology (Preference will be given to Plant Breeding and Genetics, Plant Pathology and Biotechnology) from a recognized university or equivalent.

• Work Experience: Freshers may apply

• Salary: Rs. 31000/-p.m.+ 8% HRA

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Personal Interview.
