Good news for those looking for jobs in the agriculture sector! Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Agriculture Research Officer and Assistant Agriculture Research Officer. Those with the required qualifications can submit applications by 3rd March 2022.

  • Agriculture Research Officer - 9 Posts

  • Assistant Agriculture Research Officer - 13 Posts

Education Qualification for Agriculture Research Officer

  • Asst. Research Officer (Agriculture Chemistry) - 2nd Class M.Sc. Chemistry or second Class M.Sc. (Agri.) Chem. or Soil Science from a University established by Law in India.

  • Asst. Research Officer (Horticulture) - Second Class M.Sc. (Agri) with Horticulture from a University established by Law in India.

  • Asst. Research Officer (Agronomy) - 2nd Class M.Sc. (Agri.) with Agronomy from a University Established by Law in India.

  • Asst. Research Officer (Plant Pathology) – 2nd Class M.Sc. (Botany) with Specialization in Plant Pathology / Second Class M.Sc. (Agri.) in Plant Pathology.

  • Asst. Agriculture Research Officer (Agronomy) – 2nd Class M.Sc. (Agri.) with Agronomy.

  • Asst. Agriculture Research Officer (Horticulture) – 2nd Class M.Sc. (Agri.) in Horticulture.

  • Asst. Agriculture Research Officer (Entomology) - Second Class M.Sc. (Agri.) with Entomology or Second Class M.Sc. (Zoology) with Specialization in Entomology of a University Established by Law in India.

  • Asst. Agriculture Research Officer (Botony) - 2nd Class M.Sc. (Agri.) Botany / Second Class M.Sc.(Ag.) in Plant Breeding.

  • Asst. Agriculture Research Officer (Plant Pathology) - Second Class M.Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Pathology or 2nd Class M.Sc.(Botany) with specialization in Plant Pathology.

  • Asst. Agriculture Research Officer (Agriculture Chemistry) - 2nd Class M.Sc. (Ag.) in Chemistry/Soil Science.

Age Limit

Asst. Research Officer - 20 to 40 years

Asst. Agriculture Research - 18 to 40 years

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of a written test & interview.
