Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched whole-wheat flour flour by Amul Organics Store in Delhi's Mayur Vihar.

Amul has newly entered into the organic market. This store prompts a deep delve into a variety of certified organic products, including atta (wheat flour), dals (pulses) like urad, chana, masoor, moong, rajma, chana, and various types of rice including basmati and sonmasuri.

Amul aims to cater to the growing demand for organic products while supporting farmers who adopt sustainable and eco-friendly practices. The company has ensured competitive pricing to make these products accessible to a wider consumer base. Amul stands strong as a home-brand and has made a strong consumer base. The launching of organic stores is definitely a cherry on top of the cake as we witness a paradigm shift in health consciousness.

The launch is part of Amul's diversification strategy beyond dairy products. The company plans to expand its organic range with products like sugar and tea. Amul’s fiscal 2023-24 turnover stands at Rs 12,880 crore.

Speaking at the inauguration, Minister Shah lauded the initiative, stating, "This store is a one-stop destination where consumers can access a wide range of certified organic products. In the coming days, Amul will add 100 new organic product stores."

Shah also launched Bharat Organic Atta, a product of National Cooperative Organic Limited, during the event. He emphasized the reliability of both Amul and Bharat Organic brands, assuring consumers that these products are 100% organic and rigorously tested using advanced technology.

This move by Amul is a significant development in the Indian organic food market, offering consumers greater access to certified organic products and supporting the growth of sustainable agricultural practices.
