Amitabh Bachchan to pay off loans of 850 farmers

Mumbai: Bollywood Superstar Amithab Bachchan has promised to settle bank loans of 850 farmers from Uttar Pradesh. He was involved in paying off loans of 350 farmers from Maharashtra.  He said that it is the most satisfactory experience for him to get involved in helping farmers and also added that it is most comforting to do something for farmers who are ready to risk their life for our country. 

The intervention he made by paying off loans of farmers from Maharashtra had saved many families from the verge of suicide.  He is trying to expand his involvement to other parts of countries also. Not only in Maharashtra but also in Andhra Pradesh and Vidarbha his involvement has benefited the farmers. For paying off loans of 850 farmers, Rupees Five and half Crores is estimated.
 

The actor also intends to help Ajeet Sing, one of the participants of KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati), who works to rescue young girls who are kidnapped and forced to prostitution, about which he shared in his blog.
