Arunachal Pradesh: Workshop on Natural Farming Concludes at College of Horticulture & Forestry

A three-day regional workshop title "Natural Farming Theory to Practice: Learning From Practitioners" concluded at the College of Horticulture and Forestry Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh.

The Workshop conducted in a hybrid mode by natural farming practitioners from across country serving as resource persons

The state president of the BJP Kisan Morcha, Dunggoli Libang inaugurated the valedictory session of workshop, while CHF Dean Dr. BN Hazarika oversaw its administration.

The workshop, which drew 200 participants from East Siang, West Siang, Namsai, and Lower Dibang Valley districts, as well as Jorhat and Karbi Anglong in Assam, was conducted in a hybrid mode by natural farming practitioners from across the country serving as resource persons.

Chandrakant Sangur and Chandrashekhar NS from Karnataka, Ramesh Naidu from Andra Pradesh, Keshav B. Hole from Maharashtra, Shailndrasinh Chavda Samarth from Gujarat, Devender Singh from Himachal Pradesh and Keshav Makholiya from Uttarakhand, Dr. HK Veeranna from UAHS Shivamogga and Dr. Subhash Chander Verma, DYSPHF, Solan, were present virtually.

While farmers named Samir Bordoloi, Guwahati, Mrinal Doley, Jorhat, Rajeev Morang, Jorhat, and Dr. Atul Misong, Jorhat, Assam were present in Physical mode.

Amongst them, key officials like CoA Dean Dr. AK Tripathi, DHO Oter Gao, DAO Opang Moyong, and Dr. Ajaykumara KM were also present.

ICAR-Experiential Learning Programme-Cow-based Natural Farming, the Director of Instructions, Central Agricultural University-Imphal, Manipur (DIPRO), fully funded and sponsored this initiative.
