The inaugural session will be attended by Union Minister of Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal and Minister of State for Ayush Dr. Munjapara Mahendrabhai. The Chintan Shivir will also feature prominent speakers, experts, Ministry of Ayush officials, and other dignitaries.

The two-day intensive dialogue is intended to discuss future improvements in the implementation of existing Ayush sectors and traditional medicine policies and programmes. It aims to chart a course of action for both the Ministry and the Ayush sector as a whole.

Panel discussions will be held during the two-day dialogue with eminent speakers and experts from the Ministry of Ayush, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Education, Government of Assam, NITI-Aayog, Industry, Startups, Academia, and others. There will also be interaction with the other Ayush stakeholders.

The first session will be on "Digital Health and Technology in Ayush" on February 27. The second session of the same day will focus on "Ayush Research, Future Strategy, Challenges, and Way Forward." In the third session, eminent speakers will discuss Ayush education's "Future Initiatives," capacity building, job creation, and NEP.

The second day of the conference will begin with discussions on the topics of Current Challenges and Way Forward in Ayush Drug Industries, Services, and Standardization of Ayush Products. This Session is critical because India has grown faster in the Ayush Market than the rest of the world, accounting for approximately 2.8 percent of the global market. The following session will focus on Ayush in Public Health: Challenges and Prospects.

This two-day dialogue will also look into ways to incentivize Ayush startups and manufacturers to build an Ayush startup ecosystem. It also works to build a more robust research and development infrastructure for Ayush.

The participants will have an added benefit of getting first-hand experience with the traditions, culture, wild life and biodiversity of Assam. India currently holds the presidency of both the G20 and the SCO (Shanghai Corporation Organization). These two international events take place at a time when health-seeking trends are shifting towards Ayush systems.

Many people prefer holistic healthcare. To build on this scenario and bring Ayush systems to the forefront, the "Chintan Shivir" at Kaziranga is being organised to create a road-map for the upgrading of Ayush institutions and their integration with technological advancements, as well as the identification of ways to integrate Ayush with the New Education Policy, while also identifying current services with potential for improvement to take advantage of Ayush. The expected outcomes of the two-day deliberation in the "Chintan Shivir" are a road map to improve public health, maximizing the use of technological advancement, and other deliverables.
