According to UIDAI CEO Saurabh Garg, the agency is working on a system that will create an Aadhar card for a child as soon as he is born. That is, the child's parents will no longer have to bother about obtaining an Aadhaar number.

'The Unique Identification Authority of India is formulating a fresh plan for this,' says Saurabh Garg. Hospitals will now be able to register for the purpose of issuing Aadhar cards to new-born. The UIDAI will collaborate closely with the berth registrar to launch this system, and discussions are now underway.

Hospital To Issue Baal Aadhar Card

Every day, roughly 25 million children are born in India,' Saurabh remarked. In such a case, the UIDAI intends to provide the Aadhar card simultaneously with the images of the children delivered in the hospital. Biometrics are currently not necessary for Aadhaar of children under the age of five, but after they reach the age of five, they must have their biometrics completed.

Aadhar Card To Be Made In Regional Languages

Aadhar cards will soon be given in regional languages in India,' Saurabh explained. Let us inform you that the information on the Aadhaar card in the country is currently only available in Hindi and English. However, in all regional languages such as Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, and Marathi, the cardholder's name and other details will soon be accessible on the Aadhaar card.
