Bank Holidays in October 2022: Banks to Remain Shut for 21 Days Across India, Complete List Here
The month of October will observe 21 bank holidays with the first holidays but the bank services will still be accessible through ATMs, cash deposits, online banking, and mobile banking.
Banks in both the public and private sectors will be closed nationwide on twenty-one days in October, including the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays.
In a month, there are five Sundays. Due to a national holiday, Gandhi Jayanti, as well as other festivals like Durga Puja, Dussehra, Vijayadashami, and Diwali, there will be additional bank holidays in the approaching month.
It should be mentioned that banks in India comply with the holidays that are published. Some banks observe regional festivals and holidays, even though all banks are closed on state holidays. Banks Closing of Accounts
There will be 21 bank holidays in October, with the first one beginning on Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. Other celebrations like Durga Puja, Dussehra, or Vijayadashami on October 5 come after this. All Indian banks, except for a few states, will be closed on October 24 in celebration of Diwali or Deepawali.
