A global multi-stakeholder alliance called Better Life Farming works with partners along the entire agri-value chain to help smallholder farmers in developing nations raise crop yields and farm incomes.

Bayer India is looking to fill the position of Agri consultant in a 3rd party role for its Better Life Farming initiative. Through its Better Life Farming program, Bayer has pushed groups of rural agribusiness owners to open their own Better Life Farming facilities.

Each center provides agri-inputs, crop advising, irrigation best practices, and innovative technologies to 500 farmers from five to six nearby communities. Additionally, the centers run Better Life farms to instruct farmers in proper agricultural techniques and facilitate the collection and sale of farm produce.

Job Position: Agri Consultant on 3rd Part Role

Job Location: Jharkhand and Odisha

Job Responsibility:

  • Product demand generation in BLF cluster

  • Co-ordination with partner companies and BLF centers

  • Ensure activities at the model farm, capture data, timely material availability and supply at BLF center

  • Maintain and ensure activities at the model farm

  • Generate new lead for BLF center opening, drip irrigation, and farm loan.

Pay Scale: As per industry standards.
