'Bharat's Journey to Becoming Vishwa Guru Will be Cultivated Through Its Farms,' Says Dr Rajaram Tripathi

Krishi Jagran is bound to make history and was done by introducing Dr Rajaram Tripathi, the first acknowledged Richest Farmer of India to the world during the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards 2023. The visionary behind this initiative, MC Dominic, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Krishi Jagran, applauded Dr Tripathi as an icon and a legend whose influence will resonate for generations, inspiring the youth to view farming with newfound admiration.

MC Dominic emphasised that Dr Tripathi's journey to becoming a millionaire farmer serves as a beacon of hope for those in remote corners with limited resources. Richest Farmer of India at Krishi Jagran

The CEO of Maa Danteshwari Herbal Group recently visited Krishi Jagran's office in New Delhi. During his visit, Dr Rajaram Tripathi expressed gratitude towards MC Dominic and Krishi Jagran for elevating agriculture to unprecedented heights. Coming from an underprivileged background and an area with inadequate educational facilities, Dr Tripathi highlighted the difficulties faced in such regions. However, he asserted that if he could achieve prosperity in the jungles of Bastar, farmers from remote corners could also aspire to make millions through agriculture.

Dr Tripathi proudly mentioned that his farm holds the distinction of being the first certified farm in the country, underlining the importance of recognizing excellence in the agricultural sector. He commended the efforts of MC Dominic in creating the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards, stating that it has left an indelible mark on history. He added, "Bharat's journey to becoming Vishwa Guru will be cultivated through its farms."

Addressing the limited coverage of agriculture in the media, Dr Tripathi stressed that only 4 percent of agricultural content is covered by print media, with the majority focused on politics, sports, the movie industry, and business. His vision is to change the perception surrounding farming and showcase that it can indeed be a pathway to financial success.

Creating a Positive Narrative for Indian Farmers

Reflecting on his international travels, Dr Tripathi shared insights into the global agricultural landscape, attempting to decipher why farmers in other countries thrive while Indian farmers often face challenges, including alarming suicide rates. His mission is to shift this narrative and demonstrate that agriculture in India has the potential to produce not only sustenance but also millionaires.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Tripathi sees an opportunity for India to emerge as a world leader in agriculture. With 16-17 climatic zones and over 4500 biodiversity, he believes that India's agricultural diversity can position the country as a global powerhouse. The lessons learned during the pandemic underscore the resilience and potential within the Indian agricultural sector.
