The cheapest diagnostic center in the country will be starting soon. Patients from poor sections will be able to get MRI for just Rs 50 and ultrasound for Rs 150 from December 2020. The facility will be started at Bangla Sahib Gurdwara in Delhi as per the information from Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

Rs 600 for Dialysis:

Adding to it, a dialysis center is also being built at the Guru Harkishan Hospital in the gurudwara. It will start working from next week.

As per Manjinder Singh Sirsa, President of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, only Rs 600 will be charged for dialysis here. As per the media reports, 4 machines worth Rs 6 crore have been donated to the gurudwara. These machines include dialysis, ultrasound, X-ray and MRI.

Manjinder Singh said, up to Rs 2500 is charged for MRI in private labs, but for poor people, this test will be done at only Rs 50. At the same time, Rs 800 will be charged for the remaining people. He added, a committee of doctors was formed here to see who would be given the discount. Besides this, X-ray and ultrasound for low income group will be for Rs 150.
