Banking Fraud cases are recently increasing rapidly in the country. These frauds are making people victim in many new ways. To avoid such fraud, the country's largest bank, the State Bank of India, has been constantly warning people. Moreover, we are constantly getting news of fraud cases across the country. In this sequence, SBI has issued another tweet on Tuesday and appealed to its millions of customers to be alert. In this tweet, SBI has also told that it does not send any such mail to its customers.

SBI Alerted Millions of Customers for Fake E-Mails

SBI has alerted its millions of customers for fake e-mails that are being sent to the customers. SBI is not related to these e-mails. In this case, you should avoid opening e-mail. "Bank customers are requested to be vigilant on social media and not be misled by any misleading and fake messages", said SBI in its recent tweet.

Recently the bank has shared a 20-second video and forbidden customers to share their confidential information online.

SBI tweeted with the video, "Stay alert, stay safe. While interacting with us on social media, check account verification and do not share confidential details online."

Customers are asked to use official portal for Banking Service

Customers using SBI online banking service can avail banking service through the official portal of the bank. SBI has told that take advantage of any banking services only through the official portal. If you do not do so, you may be a easy victim of banking fraud.

How to register complaint on cybercrime portal?

To register a complaint through this second option, you will have to enter your state name, login ID, mobile number and OTP. If you are a new user then you must first register yourself on this portal first. To register as a new user also, you have to provide your mobile number. After which an OTP will be sent to your mobile number. After submitting the OTP, the registration work will be completed. After that you will be able to lodge your complaint. This work will be completed in just a few minutes.
