The 16th edition of BIOFACH India, country's leading trade fair for the organic, natural, and millet industries, began today and will continue till August 5, 2024, at the India Expo Centre & Mart (IEML) in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR. This event, part of the renowned BIOFACH World network, will be co-located with NATURAL EXPO INDIA and MILLETS INDIA, offering a comprehensive platform for stakeholders in these rapidly growing sectors.

BIOFACH India 2024 attracts a diverse range of exhibitors, including producers of raw and processed organic ingredients, essential and Ayurvedic products, aquaculture, wellness and personal care products, as well as technology providers and certification bodies. The visitor profile is equally varied, encompassing e-commerce platforms, farmer producer organizations (FPOs), food and beverage manufacturers, government organizations, importers, exporters, and retail businesses.

BIOFACH India seamlessly integrates the natural and millet sectors, providing a unique opportunity for industry professionals to network, source products, and gain insights. With over 5,600 attendees from more than 20 countries expected, the event is a crucial hub for expanding business reach both nationally and internationally.

Since 2009, BIOFACH India has been bringing together Indian organic stakeholders, promoting a market projected to reach $769 million by 2025, driven by an annual growth rate of 25%. The event offers a chance to connect with health-conscious consumers and leading retail chains focusing on sustainable products. Attendees can explore collaborations with brands and startups seeking white-label products. Exhibitors can network with international buyers, expanding their market reach to over 20 countries. The expo provides a platform to showcase products to institutions such as schools, hospitals, clinics, hotels, and health-focused catering services, facilitating direct interactions with a new-age, health-conscious consumer demographic.

The 16th edition of NATURAL EXPO INDIA will feature manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers of natural food and beauty products. It is an ideal venue for launching new products, connecting with top buyers, and staying abreast of the latest trends in natural food and lifestyle products. The herbal cosmetics segment, in particular, is expected to grow at a CAGR of 15-20%, reflecting the increasing adoption of natural products.

MILLETS INDIA, now in its third edition, is the exclusive B2B platform for the millets industry. It brings together stakeholders from the entire millet ecosystem, generating significant interest in millet-based products. Following the success of the International Year of Millets, various initiatives by Indian policymakers are supporting millet farming systems, benefiting both farmers and manufacturers. India exported millets worth $75.46 million in 2022-23, up from $62.95 million in the previous year, highlighting the sector's robust growth.

BIOFACH India is part of a global network of BIOFACH trade fairs, including events in Germany, Brazil, China, the USA, Saudi Arabia, and Southeast Asia. This global reach ensures that participants at BIOFACH India are part of an international movement promoting organic living and sustainable practices.
