BPSC 65th Civil Service 2019 Notification Out: Check Age, Eligibility, Exam Pattern and Important Dates

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the official notification for Bihar Civil Service Exam 2019. The BPSC CCE Exam 2019 will be held to fill up 434 vacancies in different departments in the state. Applicants who are interested to apply for the post can visit the official website of BPSC - bpsc.bih.nic.in. The last date to apply is 24 July, 2019.

It must be noted that candidates will have to apply online for the BPSC CCE exam 2019. The registration procedure will close at 11 pm on the last date. Below we have given complete information regarding the BPSC CCE exam like important dates, vacancy details, eligibility criteria etc.

Eligibility Criteria of Bihar Civil Service Exam 2019:

Educational Qualification

Those who want to apply for the Bihar Civil Service Exam must have graduation degree from any recognised university / institution in the country. For detailed information, do visit Official Notification available at website.

Age Limit

The age limit is different for all the posts and candidates must check the detailed notification for age limit criteria.

Application Fees of Bihar Civil Service Exam 2019:

For General category candidates - Rs 600/-

For SC or ST or Female or PWD candidates - Rs 150/-

Applicants will have to pay the application fees online after registering themselves for the exam.

Exam Pattern

The Combined Preliminary Exam will be conducted only for 1 paper i.e. General Studies. All the questions will be objective with multiple-choice answers. The Prelims will be of 150 marks that has to be completed in 2 hours.

The Preliminary exam will cover topics like General Science, National & International Current Affairs, Indian History and Bihar History, Geographical divisions of Bihar and important rivers, Administration & Economy of India, and General Mental Ability etc.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary examination & main examination. Those who will qualify the prelim will have to appear for the main exam. The dates of preliminary and main exam will be announced by the Commission very soon.
