CCIC and ONDC Jointly Launches ‘Mega Sale’ Promotional Campaign from 8th-23rd July 2023

Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. (CCIC), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Textiles, has joined hands with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) for a collaborative initiative. To mark this occasion and promote their partnership, CCIC organized a grand event at its showroom located in Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi.

The event was graced by the presence of Rachna Shah, Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles, who inaugurated the "Mega Sale" campaign and also launched CCIC on the ONDC digital platform. Ajay Gupta, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles and MD of CCIC, T. Koshy, MD & CEO of ONDC, and several other senior officials were also present at the event.

CCIC's collaboration with ONDC signifies the corporation's commitment to expanding its market presence and making its exquisite range of Handicrafts and Handloom products easily accessible to customers across various buyer apps within the ONDC network.

The primary objective of CCIC's association with ONDC is to support artisans and weavers and contribute to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) and the Vocal 4 Local initiatives. As part of this effort, CCIC has organized the 'Mega Sale' promotional campaign, which will run from July 8th to July 23rd, 2023.

During this campaign, customers can enjoy discounts of up to 30% on a wide range of handicraft and handloom products, thus promoting and preserving India's traditional art and craft heritage.
