CNH Country Manager and Managing Director Narinder Mittal Visits Krishi Jagran Chaupal

CNH Industrial India's Country Manager & Managing Director Narinder Mittal and Madhu Kandhari, Corporate Communication and Employee Motivation on Friday visited the head office of Krishi Jagran, Delhi.

CNH Industrial India's Country Manager and Managing Director Narinder Mittal and Madhu Kandhari, Corporate Communication and Employee Motivation visited Krishi Jagran's head office in Delhi on Friday, August 4. Mittal has been heading the SAARC agriculture business.

Mr. Mittal is responsible to manage and oversee the company’s operations in the markets. With over two decades of experience, he brings relevant understanding and expertise in a number of areas, including international sourcing, ISO, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, TQM, and business growth. He joined the company in November 2016 as an Executive Director of India Manufacturing Operations and has served in various positions understanding their core competencies to further utilize them for the company’s benefit. 

Welcoming Narinder Mittal, who is an Engineering graduate from NIT Calicut and an alumnus of Columbia Business School, New York, Krishi Jagran Founder & Editor-in-Chief MC Dominic, said, "New Holland Agriculture, Agricultural machinery company, also started with us in 1996." Appreciating their business he said, "It is not easy to sustain, survive, and scale up to a new level within a period of two decades," but they did it.  

CNH is a parent company of New Holland Agriculture. "It is a 25 billion dollar company with over 80% turnover in the agriculture industry," Narinder Mittal, CNH Industrial India's Country Manager and Managing Director, said. 

Their business has spread its branches wide in a huge array of services. "We started our first plant of tractors in Noida in 1998," he said. Moreover, they started making harvesting equipment for sugarcane in Pune. "There is a project against stubble burning and subsidy on electricity in Pune going on," he added. He told us that the auto-guidance system has been utilised under the leadership of India Technology by the sugarcane harvester.

Taking the baton of knowledge forward, he said, "Round Baler and Big Baler High Density are really going to add up to the quality of production in India," he said. The company has been very closely working with the central and Uttar Pradesh government to make farming a better experience. "Big Balers will be useful in the crop residue management facility, started by the government of India," he said.

"CNH is looking at India as a huge opportunity to grow," he said.
