Delhi Nursery Admission 2023: Registration in Schools Starts on December 1, Complete Details Inside

The complete admission schedule for entry-level classes for open seats in private, unaided, recognized schools in Delhi for the academic year 2023–2024 has been made public by the DoE Delhi. On November 28, 2022, the requirements for Delhi Nursery admission 2023 will be posted online.

December 23, 2022, is the deadline for Delhi Nursery admission applications. Parents are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 25 to enroll their children in nursery classes. On January 20, 2023, DoE Delhi will present the initial list of selected children. On February 6, 2023, the second selection list, which includes the waiting list, will be shown. On March 17, 2022, the application period for the academic year 2023–2024 will be closed.

The notification said that all private schools will reserve 25% seats for economically weaker sections (EWS) and disadvantaged group (DG) students and children with disabilities.

By December 16, schools must report the number of seats available and the admission requirements.

Additionally, according to a directive from the DoE, the number of seats in entry-level classes must not be less than the total number of seats in entry-level classes throughout the previous three academic years (2020–21, 2021–22, and 2022–23).

The notification stated that the school would notify "eligible parents of students in the draw of lots at least two days prior to the day of the draw through the website, notice board, and email."

It said the draw of lots would be conducted under videography and its footage will be maintained and retained by the school. The slips will be shown to the parents before being put in the box, which is used for the drawing of lots, the notification said.
