Dhanuka Celebrates “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and Works to Transform India Through Agriculture

The ASM Foundation in association with Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh has organized a four days conferences on “Climate Resilient and Sustainable Development of Horticulture” from May 28-31, 2022.

The ASM Foundation in association with Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh has organized a four days conference on “Climate Resilient and Sustainable Development of Horticulture” from May 28-31, 2022. The conference had the collaboration of the Dhanuka Agritech Limited Gurugram, JISL Jalgaon, the CHAI, New Delhi, and the TAAS, New Delhi.

The Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee constituted by the CSA, Dr. DR Singh, the Vice-Chancellor of CSA inaugurated the National Conference, on the other hand, Organizing Secretary Dr. Karam Hussain, Co-Organizing Secretary Dr. AK Singh, and Organizing Joint Secretaries Dr. YP Malik and Dr. VK Yadav. Dr. H.P. Singh, Former DDG (Horti), ICAR, and Chairman, CHAI, New Delhi was the convener of the Advisory Committee.

Dr. Ajeet Singh Tomar Vice President (Head R&D) from Dhanuka Agritech Limited chaired one technical session: Plant Health Management for Resilience to Climate Change and sustainability in production and delivered a keynote presentation on Strategies Crop Solutions for Climate-resilient and sustainable production in Horticulture”

Subodh Kumar Gupta (Chief Manager-Marketing) from Dhanuka Agritech Limited delivered a presentation on Dhanuka Innovative Crop Solutions Strategies in Horticulture Cropssharing results of their new 9 (3) Products range like Kirari results on Late Blight of Potato Crop, Onekil results on Onion Crop as One-shot solution control of Narrow and Broad Leaf Weeds, Nissodium results on Powdery Mildew of Chilli Crop and a unique Product having control on Fungal & Bacterial Diseases together as brand Conika.

The conference had valuable inputs from all the stakeholders, through knowledge sharing for developing strategic recommendations to develop a policy framework and understand the current status of horticulture. The conference also analyzed the likely impact of climate change on the production and productivity of horticultural crops and how these challenges can be mediated through various technologies. Accordingly, the conference addressed the challenge of livelihood for rural development through knowledge sharing on climate resilient horticulture for sustainable development.

There was an overwhelming response and the conference witnessed the participation of 350+ delegates across India including Farmers. In valedictory function Udyan, Ratna Award was conferred to innovative farmers for the contribution they’re in their respective fields.

The foundation honors the farmers from across the country for their achievements in enhancing the productivity and profitability of farms through the innovations, besides their contribution to linking farmers to the market and thereby improving their economic status.
