Dharavi Slums is now a COVID-19 controlled success story

Feared of becoming a cluster bomb of COVID-19 cases to emerging as a success model, Mumbai's, Dharavi slum, has made considerable progress in its battle against the pandemic. With the newly reported one case, Dharavi now has only 2,335 coronavirus cases. The last time when it had recorded a single coronavirus case was on April 5. Dharavi a low-income area filled with narrow lanes and spaces crammed with small houses registered an impressive tally of recoveries. It has just 352 active cases; 1,734 people have been cured.
